Violet's Little Book of Wisdom

On Friday we had the funeral of a lady (Violet Wilcock) from our parish who over the years had compiled a little book of wisdom that has now become a precious legacy for her family. Over the time she found phrases of comfort and wisdom about family, friends, grief and loss, God's love and what true priorities in life are.

Our Own Songs of Praise: What a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone who supported this event and made it such a great opportunity to gather family, friends, people of other churches and the wider community together to praise God. I am sure that everyone who was there will remember the evening for a very long time. Here's to another one next year!
